The Course
Unlike traditional courses, this is a series of SolidWorks modeling exercises designed to increase your skills, speed, and confidence. Instead of following a script for learning SolidWorks, these exercises allow you to think for yourself and develop a better understanding of the many SolidWorks tools.
Everything in this course is hands-on. You will be challenged to model many different parts and given the opportunity to confirm their accuracy.
Prepare to boost your SolidWorks skills, whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your modeling prowess.
As you gain confidence in creating intricate components, you'll also discover the significance of these skills in the real world. Many of the sample parts are based on real world examples, not just arbitrary shapes.
The use of SolidWorks to design parts is widespread across industries – from automotive to aerospace, consumer products to industrial machinery. Not only will you be able to bring your own ideas to life, but you'll also become an invaluable asset in a world where digital design stands at the forefront of innovation and production. So, get ready to transform your virtual designs into tangible solutions that solve real-world challenges.
What you will learn
I created this course to provide the perfect self-paced SolidWorks learning tool - an ever growing collection of sample parts. Although you can find sample parts to model on many sites, I wanted my students to have an organized set of part drawings that are clear and complete. No longer do you need to wonder if a sample part drawing has errors. All of the drawings in this course are carefully reviewed for accuracy and clarity. What's even better is that everything is laid out so you can track your progress effortlessly. This isn't just a bunch of part drawings — it's a carefully curated learning experience that will increase your SolidWorks modeling skills and build your confidence.
